Dr. Leah Clionsky
Dr. Clionsky began her PCIT journey in 2007 as a Ph.D. graduate student in the Child Study Lab at the University of Florida under the direct mentorship of Dr. Sheila Eyberg, the developer of PCIT . She was impressed by the immediate and lasting improvements that she observed in parent-child relationships and has remained committed to ensuring that families can access research-quality care in a clinical setting. Dr. Clionsky has implemented PCIT with clients in multiple settings, including research clinics, community health, and private practice. When the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020, Dr. Clionsky began using Internet-Based PCIT as a way of continuing to offer care and realized that Internet-Based PCIT (I-PCIT) works as well *if not better* than in-person PCIT sessions. She enjoys providing this effective evidence-based treatment to children and families across the United States.

“Dr. Clionsky has been such a blessing to our family. Prior to Dr. Clionsky everyday was a struggle to get my son to follow instructions and not act out. His behavior and my ability to discipline him have been transformed for the better.”
